However when preparing my stew I followed the step by step instructions on the Turbo Cuisine app which was great. Couldn’t believe that a stew that takes about 3 hours in the oven only took 30mins cooking time in the Tefal Oressure Cooker. The results were fantastic- my whole family said how tender the meat was and that it was better than normal! I would recommend that a QR code be put on the box to scan to easily get the app. I didn’t know one existed until I researched it. Also, a small colour recipe book would be nice, just to get started. Really looking forward to trying soup and a cake in it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very hard to understand When I got this product I was really exited to use it and try the recipes, but honestly I found it quite hard to master. Instruction are dreadful. I’m getting there eventually but through trial and error. No where does it tell you you need to preheat the pot before cooking. Very disappointed in it actually and yes …yet another waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Cuisine - Fast, tasty meals! The Tefal Turbo Cuisine is easy to use and speeds up cooking meals. We have tried different meals and so far the easiest was the mushroom risotto, which came out creamy and delicious! There was an App available with different recipes which definitely helped with inspiration. The turbo came with all the utensils needed including a steaming bowl, that can be used for a range of recipes, including cheesecakes. The only difficulty was the inconvenience of having to unscrew the valves to clean them. The other benefit is the saving on utility bills as I'll use the oven and gas hobs less as the Tefal Turbo Cuisine is so versatile with the meal options you can make .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not easy to use Very good looking than other similar products. Still not 100% sure how to use it. The instruction in the box and online are not helpful. So far, I used it for cooking brown short rice following its cup, water level and the rice cooking function, but came out as watery like nearly porridge. (Water level doesn’t specify for what type of rice) Also I booked soya beans using the steam function but turned out cooked unevenly. I think the pot itself is good, just need more information to use it fully. Apps doesn’t have much recipes neither.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Speedy dinners I use this mainly when I don’t have time to wait for a dinner to cook if I’m going out. I can prep the meal in the cooker, including browning meat etc. I can then set it to come on and cook while I’m out and I come back to a cooked meal, ready to dish. For me the best dishes are with rice, like risotto or a pasta dish. It cooks really quickly and keeps hot until opening. The only thing to bear in mind is it does take a while to heat up, so when browning the start of a meal, it’s easier to prep whilst waiting. Good results. Haven’t tried as a slow cooker yet, but now it’s getting colder will look for some recipes. It’s big, but still fits into my cupboard when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic little cooker What a fantastic little cooking appliance. I've cooked chicken stew in it and it was very delicious and soooo soft. I love pre set settings and the steam release button. Pot inside has very good quality non stick coating and no matter how long I've cooked for no food was burnt or stuck to the bottom. Cooker looks very stylish and is quite light to move around. Easy to clean as well. I just wish they provided a few recipes in the manual book as it would help to get used to all settings. You can do a lot of different type of cooking with it like slow cooking, pressure cooking, steaming, baking atc. Overall this is great little Cooker for small family of 3-4 people.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Style over substance- Dissapointing The timing for cooking is misleading. Rice does not cook in 8 minutes. It get soaked in the preheating stage for 20mn before cooking for 8mn and the result is a mashed & soggy rice. This applies to other recipes. The pressure level is not displayed either, just the temperature. I do not recommend the product.
