Poor information about the productI ordered this product because the previous model, which I had thought I had ordered, came with waffle plates and toasted sandwich plates. This is what I wanted to replace an old Tefal model which very sadly had broken after years of good service. However the current model only came with waffle plates and panini plates and although I was assured that I could order toasted sandwich plates at an additional £22, the website still said that they were not compatible with the newer model. So I have returned it for a full refund. Although the person I communicated with by telephone and email was trying to be very helpful I was very disappointed with the customer service and information on the website.

Item returnedI bought this item it was delivered to my neighbour without me knowing. Tefal knew this through the carrier they use but don't send a mail to their customer to let them know their order has been deliver. I had to call Tefal to find out.
Then the grill plates were missing from the unit! I had to call again and been told I had to wait 10 days! In the meantime I wrote a complaint and never had an answer. I received the plates finally but I decided to return the unit. I do not trust a company that do not take their customers' issues seriously. I am very disappointed with a company like Tefal!!

Easy clean up, cool interchangeable design.Already made a large batch of waffles, using the recipe from NME, three minutes per waffle. They came out great. Looking forward to using the small bites plate soon.
Clean up was super easy, as the non-stick lived up to its name; nothing was left on the plates themselves. And because you can remove the plates, it was a breeze to get my soft bristle scrubber into the waffle shape crevices to clean out any oils from the batter.
Changing plates was easy; just make sure the plates and device are cool, then press the eject button and they pop right out. Then just pop in the next plate set you want to use.
My only complaint so far is minor: the plates that come with the device don't come with storage boxes. This means while I can safely store one set in the device, the other set it loose and without scratch protection. When you buy a plate set seperately, it comes with a storage box to keep it safe. I wish I got at least one storage box with the bundle so I could store the extra plates safely.
I've only just bought the snack time, so I can't comment on durability, but it seems robust and comes with a warranty.

Exactly what I wantedPurchased for my partner and from the two times she has used it there have been no problems. The toastie was well cooked throughout, and for the waffles were great (once the right amount of batter was added).
The green go light is useful for knowing when to add your food to cook it just right.
I am looking forward to getting my hands on some of the other plates the are available to try.
Couldn't give 4 stars, only because of the total fiasco with the shipping. Not Tefal's direct fault but please think of a better courier than your current one.

Loved it so much I bought 2!This is my second purchase (I also have the older model!). I decided to keep one in the motorhome and one in the house. I have collected many of the different plates as they are so versatile. Makes excellent waffles. I’m a big fan. Just wish there were more /better recipes out there.
