Yes Is it worth it? Heck yes! I never owned a Generator before and I nearly fainted when I saw the price tag as surely my £50 Steam iron was just as good, just more water, right? WRONG. I tried ironing a shirt for a friend with another tefal model and I was flabbergasted at how quickly it glided through fabric, so I had to get my own. What to say other than, it glides through al sorts of fabrics and wrinkles like hot knife through butter, the iron itself is incredibly light (perfect for arthritic hands) as the water tank isn’t on it. It has a giant water tank, I rarely have to refill it while ironing unless I’ve skipped ironing for a month lol but even if you have to it’s quick and it will last for ages. I often use it as a handheld steamer too for when I quickly need to steam a dress and I’m too lazy to get the ironing board out… which is often. Work amazingly well for that. All in all..
