Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tefal optigrill elite XL. I would highly recommend the Tefal optigrill elite XL. It's easy to clean as the plates come off with just a push of a button. It came with an easy to use instruction booklet that also had recipe ideas. We loved the fact you could chose a preset cooking option for a variety of foods as well as having the option to select a Manuel mode, this meant you could chose the temperature and time you wanted to cook at/ for. The option to cook from frozen was great too. We have so far used it for steak, chicken kebabs, bacon and paninis which the whole family enjoyed . The grill is easy to use and cooks food to perfection, a great piece of equipment for any kitchen.

Firstly, let's start with the appearance. it looks great in the kitchen with all of my other appliances, and it's not to bulky, which I was originally concerned about. Secondly the performance. Once i read the manual (clearly explained) I firstly cooked burgers. I love how you can set how cooked u want them to finish. Next we cooked steak in which the grill measures the thickness to calculate the cooking process. It goes from blue-well done. I wanted mine medium rare and cooked them to medium and was a perfect finish. If you want a grill.. get this product :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Grill This grill is brilliant, it has its own built in auto menu and also manual mode. In both modes it has a pre heat which you can add to, from frozen and searing, then lets you know when to add food. In auto it then measures the thickness and gives you a cooking time, which if you want can be overridden. In manual mode you set the temperature and the cooking time. It sears while its cooking anyway but if you like dark searing you use the searing touch button in the warming up section of operation. It cooks to perfection and don't disappoint. It is so easy to clean the grill plates as they clip off and can be washed with soapy water or in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend it as the results are amazing

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good size family grill First impressions - great size, digital screen and preset times and heat settings. First time I used it I cooked sausages on it on the sausage setting, unfortunately they ended up burnt on the outside and raw in the middle, so had to do a manual time on top. Second time cooked a panini on manual settings and it was spot on. Think it'll just take a bit of time getting used to the heat/times, but it's a great bit of kit. Cleaning is a bit of a faff as the grill indents are quite deep, so will have to find a specific brush to get in there. Shame nothing came with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Family steak time? This grill is perfect I found the grill to be the perfect size to cook our family meals. I tried out steak and pork loins and sausages in bacon and they were so easy to cook and tasted delicious. I always struggle to make my steak medium and the simple way of preheating and choosing the meat I was cooking and the fact it gave me a countdown with choices was great. The grill was roomy enough to cook 2 massive ribeye steaks and then I also cooked 3 thick cut pork loins. The grill parts are easily removed with a click of a button and then cleaned using soap and water. This helps keep the grill completely clean for all use. It has a handy drip catcher too. I would recommend this for a busy family who like to grill their food. (So much healthier)

As a busy family of four this is definitely our go to when we all come home the food tastes amazing. So easy to keep clean the grill clip off for a deep clean. It instructions as simple straight forward to read and the grill is simple to use with control temperature and you can press what your going to make so bye bye burnt food. This is the misted used appliance we use for cooking food now. Over the moon I got chosen to try this absolutely amazing. Thank hometester !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too big, takes too long The product looks professional and stylish but it is not quick and easy to use. The grill takes over 10 minutes to heat up, the first thing we tried was chicken so we set the grill to the preferred setting and the chicken was so overcooked it burnt! I’ve tried a few various other items and they have been ok. Steak looked great but was cold inside even on medium. The only things I like about this is that you can remove the plates for dishwashing. As a family of 4 this grill is a good size for a meal but the machine itself is just too big.

The grill itself takes the maths out of cooking by automatically adjusting the cooking time based on the thickness of the food. Its great as a visual aid to know how well food such as steak is cooked, especially when you have people who like different levels of cooking. An audible beep let's you know when your food is ready. Cleaning is also a breeze with the removable and dishwasher safe grill plates.
