Everyone's A Hidden Chef With TefalAfter being with the Foreman for so so long it was time for a change to Tefal.
I cook steaks the old way and it takes some skill getting your steaks just right the way everyone enjoys them . However with the Optigrill + all our steaks were cooked to perfection. Melt in your miuth with that lush velvety texture.Tefal cooks it all for you ,so you don't have to.
You can can even cook cheese toasties on manual mode or just press the button for sausages and under 5mins you have great tasting toasties.
I look forward to cooking more with Tefal. Products that won't let you down.

A fabulous addition to any kitchen![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tefal Optigrill+ is fabulous! I can finally cook the perfect steak - something I have always struggled with using other cooking methods. The grill is far more light weight than it looks and the ease of cleaning surprised me - just pop the detachable grilling plates in the dishwasher and give the grease tray a wash! I have used the grill to cook sandwiches, steak and vegetables but my favourite is definitely chicken. just add seasoning of choice and you will have the most tender chicken fillets perfectly cooked in no time - no excess grease but juicy and tender!! The grill is a great addition to any kitchen.

Intelligent Cooking[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a couple of months since we bought this grill. In the past we have tried many other grills where you have to decide the temp and time for specific items (sandwiches, Chicken breast etc), but it was always a hit and try kind of situation. But with Optigrills pre programmed modes you get perfect results every single time be it pita sandwiches, fish or chicken. It will automatically detect the thickness of chicken breast and adust the cook time. Last but not least, the no mess cooking. Easily removable plates and drip tray are dishwasher safe.

A great grill for beginner cooks![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find this unit bulky. Heavy and I found it takes quite a bit of space. The grill is rather small, 2 T-bone steak and thats all it can take on the hot plate. Cooking was excellent, no worries of overcooking. The grease tray is awesome, missus love it as it drains all fat. However cleaning was a hassle compared to a stove grill as have to clean multiple parts. Would use it outdoors if only cooking for 2ppl, if for more, i dont think it would suit the occassion. Overall, this Optigrill+ is great for beginners like me and single/ couple.

Absolutely Fantastic[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally wanted a sandwich press but went for the Optigrill and haven't looked back. Not only for toasted sandwiches but cooks everything to perfection. So far I have used it for steak, sausages, kebabs, hamburgers and chicken all with great results. Very easy to use and clean up is soo easy with the removable plates. I also bought the OPTIGRILL+ SNACK & BAKING TRAY ACCESSORY which I haved so far used it for frozen pizzas again with great results.

What did I do without it[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for cooking anything and everything to perfection. Super light weight, so you don�t have to leave it permanently on the bench top. You could take this camping if you had power. It�s so easy to use and cooks steak perfectly. It will beep when it�s good to go and then when it�s through the cooking. I feel like I can cook better with this. I could never cook a steak perfectly. But this does the guess work. It�s so easy to clean, easier than a regular press or grill. Nothing sticks to the plates. You can basically wipe them clean. I reheated corn fritters in it and they were crisp on the outside and moist in the middle, just like cooking them fresh.

Light, lean and a breeze to clean![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I received it I raced out to buy steaks! We cook a lot on our webber but as winter approaches we don't cook outside as much so the Optigrill was a perfect solution. The timer is easy to use and lives up to expectations. Toasted sandwiches were done perfectly. As for cleanup , so easy and the detachable plates are light and a breeze to clean . My husband doesn't cook but he took it to work and cooked " steaks to order" for his work mates. Definitely a must have for busy people.. we recommend the Tefal Optigrill !!!

Low fat, low maintenance, top results, EASY[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second OPTIGRILL, I passed on the first one (still in top condition) to a pensioner friend. I use it for sausages, bacon (in stacks of 2) but especially toasties. A weekly visitor insists on them: Cheddar slice with Dijon mustard, Tomato with salt and pepper, roast pork or beef, 3 asparagus spears, bread & butter cucumbers and avocado. A healthy feast. The fact that the hot plates are so easily removable and dishwsher safe is a great bonus. Nothing else comes close in design and unitlity in my view.
