However when preparing my stew I followed the step by step instructions on the Turbo Cuisine app which was great. Couldn’t believe that a stew that takes about 3 hours in the oven only took 30mins cooking time in the Tefal Oressure Cooker. The results were fantastic- my whole family said how tender the meat was and that it was better than normal! I would recommend that a QR code be put on the box to scan to easily get the app. I didn’t know one existed until I researched it. Also, a small colour recipe book would be nice, just to get started. Really looking forward to trying soup and a cake in it.

We have tried different meals and so far the easiest was the mushroom risotto, which came out creamy and delicious! There was an App available with different recipes which definitely helped with inspiration. The turbo came with all the utensils needed including a steaming bowl, that can be used for a range of recipes, including cheesecakes. The only difficulty was the inconvenience of having to unscrew the valves to clean them. The other benefit is the saving on utility bills as I'll use the oven and gas hobs less as the Tefal Turbo Cuisine is so versatile with the meal options you can make .

Instruction are dreadful. I’m getting there eventually but through trial and error. No where does it tell you you need to preheat the pot before cooking. Very disappointed in it actually and yes …yet another waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by TD669 from Speedy dinners I use this mainly when I don’t have time to wait for a dinner to cook if I’m going out. I can prep the meal in the cooker, including browning meat etc. I can then set it to come on and cook while I’m out and I come back to a cooked meal, ready to dish. For me the best dishes are with rice, like risotto or a pasta dish. It cooks really quickly and keeps hot until opening. The only thing to bear in mind is it does take a while to heat up, so when browning the start of a meal, it’s easier to prep whilst waiting. Good results. Haven’t tried as a slow cooker yet, but now it’s getting colder will look for some recipes. It’s big, but still fits into my cupboard when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slavenka1 from Fantastic little cooker What a fantastic little cooking appliance. I've cooked chicken stew in it and it was very delicious and soooo soft. I love pre set settings and the steam release button. Pot inside has very good quality non stick coating and no matter how long I've cooked for no food was burnt or stuck to the bottom. Cooker looks very stylish and is quite light to move around. Easy to clean as well. I just wish they provided a few recipes in the manual book as it would help to get used to all settings. You can do a lot of different type of cooking with it like slow cooking, pressure cooking, steaming, baking atc. Overall this is great little Cooker for small family of 3-4 people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Geegee128 from Good product The Turbo Cuisine is a good quality gadget. I cooked a full chicken in half an hour. Many pasta dishes in 5 minutes. Steamed veg in 3 minutes. The food is lovely. The keep warm function is very helpful if you arnt quite ready. The steam release button makes it safe also although you press firmly and for around 30 seconds.Delayed start is also helpful.The digital settings are simple to use. The downside is that it cooks fast but takes 10/15 minutes to heat up before the cooking starts. I would recommend this product particularly because it is space saving as it is a multi functional kitchen appliance. So steamers and slow cookers are no longer needed to take up bench space.

Quite large but reasonably efficient use of space (ie it's quite tall). Have made a risotto and a dahl, these came out well. It didn't take too long to heat up, presumably as already quite hot from the stock. Tried for porridge also, this took a while to heat up and my wife said she could tell it had been used to cook oniony dishes so wouldn't use it for that again. Still, I like the one pot concept and that you don't need to watch it/stir. Will hopefully mean that I cook more. Was bought to replace an ugly slow cooker and for rice so other aspects are a bonus. Recipes were from Tefal app which is another plus.
