One aspect that I wasn't expecting but am very pleased about is that on our AEG induction hob where the old pans needed a setting of 10 to maintain a simmer with these pans the same simmer can be maintained with just a setting of 6 so they clearly work more efficiently on the induction system so I'm guessing will be using less electricity. The handles stay cool, including the lid handles. The lid flanges having holes is great for draining the contents after cooking without any need to tilt the lid.
