It was very easy to assemble, you fill the chamber of water and place it in the holder, the iron itself heats up quite quickly and the light stops flashing when ready to use. The iron moves through creases as you would expect from Tefal, pressing the button gives you steam when required. At first it took me a few attempts to remember not to try and stand it on the ironing board (it won't stand up like that) so after I did that a few times I soon got used to it. Its extremely easy to use, having no cable means no getting tangled. This is a fabulous iron, highly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mops Olive from Not as good as older cordless Iron I have persevered with this iron for around 6 months. It continuously leeks out of the steam holes after around 3 minutes. I have tried all the suggestions, turn up high, wait until the light stops flashing. The iron is also really light so you have to apply extra pressure to press out the creases, the steam just isn't powerful enough and end up having to go over the creases multiple times to make any difference. I had a really good red and white Tefal (can't remember the model) cordless iron previously. I really thought this would be a step up but I am sad to say it is more like a budget hotel iron.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Suepaskins from Freemove Iron I had a tefal freemove iron for years (at least 12 and probably longer. It was great until it stopped heating. I bought a new one. The new one takes longer to reheat than the older one. Blurb says it will have reheated by the time you have readjusted the clothes you were ironing, but I consistently have a 5 second or longer wait. It also doesn’t ‘click’ so easily onto the base unit. The old one always just ‘clicked’ in. If you haven’t used the older model you will probably be delighted, but I mourn my old iron, and wonder why the newer one just isn’t as good. My old freemove I would give 5 stars, the new one only 3

The design is nice and sleek and the performance in regards to unwrinkle the clothes was also good. The big con is that you have to put the product back on the base every 30 seconds to charge, which is quite inconvenient. Not sure if we did something wrong, but after reading the instructions a few times it seems like it was all correct. If it lasted a longer period without having to charge it would be great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kaskauk3 from Good results but... Overall it is not too bad. The cloths were very smooth and quickly. It definitely was improvement from my normal iron. However, it did not work for me with the need to recharge it - too often for me. I iron lots of office and school cloths and felt that I wasn’t able to iron as big area before I needed to put the iron back to heat it up again. Also the vertical steam didn’t do much for me neither. The results were great but the cordless feature and vertical steam didn’t impress me. Also personally I prefer the steam to automatically just to come out, without the need to press the button.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SWALK538 from Sadly not a winner in this house As a family with young children our ironing pile is never ending, hence why I was so excited at receiving this iron. The iron itself is very sleek & light making it excellent to hold in your hand 7 manoeuvre. The charging station did fit the end of my ironing board in its existing iron holder, but only just as it is pretty big. The one and only negative which is huge for me is that it has to be returned to the charging station every 30 seconds and wait for the green light before carrying on. With me having a lot of 'small peoples' clothing that constantly needs to be repositioned, the 30 seconds just simply isn't enough. Once I had turned the clothes on the ironing board, the beeps were sounded before I had even done half a leg. It took me 45 to do perhaps just 4 or 5 things, whereas I normally get through a lot more than that. If Tefal could change this so that it held a good amount of charge, even 5 mins, it would be a winner in this house.

After ironing half a pillow case the iron was flashing red so iron needed replacing in stand to reheat. had to wait for the flashing red to turn to flashing green and eventually green. Such a SLOW process. Using this iron doubled my ironing time with most time wasted waiting every minute for it to reheat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mike1011 from Don't Let Cables Tie You Down! A good well built iron. It feel secure in the hand an holds a good amount of water. The dial is easy to see and set to the correct temperature. The included lights on the base help to tell you if you have place the iron in correctly to charge back up. A couple of negatives, it would be nice for the iron to produce more steam, but that being said i tend to nail the ironing all in one go, but if you do it little and often then it would be fantastic. the other negative is that i would like the iron to have stayed a little hotter for longer when taken off the base station. Again, thats me. others may find that a good length of time (about 30 seconds). It takes a little getting used to using (especially not putting it back upright on the side of the ironing board), but you quickly get used to it.
