Easy to set up and use except that the remote has to be at the level of the screen at the bottom to use it which means bending down so not really fit for purpose. As a clothes steamer I found it worked better on lighter fabrics, a linen shirt didn’t look much different than before. The biggest plus was that jackets were really refreshed after wearing and body creases in the sleeves removed. As a normal household product it is a little bulky (it doesn’t collapse down completely without removing the side bars) and not any faster than normal ironing. Anyone who dry cleans often would find it a great addition.

The addition of a remote control is very handy. It worked well on my husbands polo shirts but I don’t feel the quality of finish on regular shirts was enough to be worth it. By the time everything was clipped , it is easier for him to iron himself and get a better finish. I hoped to use for my dresses, some of which crease in the wash but respond well to steam inf. however, most are at least knee length so are too long for use in the machine. If it was possible to have an extender just one more level to the poles it would have been a lot more useful for me.

The item was bigger than I first imagined before it arrived and my husband had to take it upstairs and set it up due to its weight as I have disabilities. However, once set up this is a game changer which saves me time and energy! A really helpful product which means I spend less time ironing and clothes. I have noticed clothes with ingrained smell despite repeated washing smell much better which makes me feel better throughout my day. My husbands work shirts also look great! I would definitely recommend and would buy a similar product in future, but hope this one will last me a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Star93 from No more ironing school shirts! Since this arrived, I haven’t had to iron a single school shirt. The creases drop straight out, it’s fabulous. It struggled a bit more with a thick cotton weaved shirt, but the bulk of the creases dropped out and the shirt just needed a quick once over with an iron. Have also been impressed with the sanitise function on delicate items; sometimes items smell but are not clean, and this has been great at getting rid of unpleasant smells. The Care for You First is a bit expensive, which is a downside. Its footprint is quite large so enough space is needed for it to be stored when not in use.

My scepticism for such a product was gone in the 10 mins after I started the quick refresh cycle on my least favourite shirt awaiting a trip to the launderers for ironing. My god I was surprised at the results. The wife can't seem to come up with ideas on what to put in it next!! The product does what it says, and does it well. I'm yet to assess the penalty one gets in terms of electricity usage but the hit to the wallet feels quite big when I looked up its RRP. If you can afford it, get it. A little bit more capacity (currently only 3 pieces of clothing) would have made more sense given how much time it takes to steam things.

It's like having a dry cleaning service at your convenience right at home! It saves me time and money because I no longer have to make trips to the dry cleaners or pay for professional services. The device steams and refreshes clothes effortlessly, leaving them wrinkle-free and smelling fresh. One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that the clips aren’t always reliable when pulling up fabric. You have to make sure they make a click sound to ensure they stay in place. It’s a minor issue, but something to be aware of when using it. Overall, I highly recommend the Tefal Care For You First for anyone looking for an efficient way to care for their clothes and save on dry cleaning bills!

Not any longer! With this Tefal 'magic wardrobe' I am finally free. My husband's clothes looks absolutely amazing. I was never able to do such a good job with his shirts as the Care for me First does. My girls.school uniforms looks sparkling clean too. I am also a fan of the sterilising option, I used it for the pillows, już amazing!
