Controls easy to understand if you read the booklet instead guessing. Should be easier to keep clean than my old Phillips as this has removable basket bottom. Everything I've tried in the short time since purchase has turned out as expected. It has a very generous basket, ergonomic handle, & cooks stuff really, really well. We've already made about a dozen meals in it. It's also quiet & doesn't seem to put too much heat out of the back, so I guess it's pretty efficient. The controls are clear and very intuitive - we were up and running within 5 mins of unboxing. It's also relatively lightweight but also seems sturdily made.
